The Chairman of Central Mosque of Brent Dr Raja Amjid Riaz and his team Raja T Khan Mohammad Jaffar amd Raja Basharat Khan were invited to the Metropolitan Police Carol Service at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday 11th December 2024.
A lovely carol service which was attended by Sadiq Khan Mayor of London and Sir Mark Rowley QPM Commissioner of Metropolitan Police and other senior officials and members of all faith communities including James Yates chaplaincy at St Gabriel’s Church and members of the community.
Dr Riaz met with Sir Mark Rowley QPM Commissioner of Metropolitan Police and local police Brent Police Officers Superintendent Will Lexington-Jones and Inspector Yu Zhang.
Dr Raja Amjid Riaz said that this was a lovely evening when the best of London was on display. At this time of the year our thoughts and prayers are those who need help and support. We are fortunate to have such a professional police force working for the whole of London.
