Coronavirus Update:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
‎السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُاللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه۔

Dear brothers and sisters

As you may know yesterday over 55000 positive cases were reported in the UK with over 900 deaths and UK hospital admission have also increased past the peak of the first lockdown in April 2020. This is a very worrying situation which may have implications for us all. The Government has indicated that it is considering To delay the start of the school term and the Government has requested the hep of over 1500 military personnel to help aid vaccination in schools and colleges. We have to do our bit in this pandemic by following all Tier 4 rules strictly as well as getting tested regularly and when our turn comes to get vaccinated.

I would urge you all to use the NHS Test facility at the Central Mosque of Brent or your local Test  Centre by booking online by using the Link below or if you can. It you may try and walk in but may be refused or have a delay before you can get tested.
Jazak Allah

Coronavirus Update 2

ﺑِﺴْـــــــﻢِﷲِﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَﻦِﺍلرَّﺣِﻴ
Asalaam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters
As we progress into this second wave of the coronavirus pandemic things are getting much worse. With the advent of the Government’s new three Tier system of Medium, High and Very High categories we have seen today that London has been put on the ‘High Tier’ with all its associated restrictions and that Manchester alongside Liverpool has been placed into the Very High Category. These are indeed very worrying times and coming closer to home Brent remains at the medium risk of London Boroughs with approx 88 cases per 100 000 population a figure which we if we obey the rules can keep down and reduce the risks to our family and friends.
In response to this Jumaa/Friday prayers the following strict guidelines will need to be adhered to:
I would just like to remind you that Friday prayers will be at 1.30pm sharp so please arrive early as to avoid a last minute rush which delays proceedings. The doors will close at 1.25pm.
As per usual strict guidance to the following rules will have to be followed. The following 10 point Central Mosque of Brent safety plan is mandatory;

1. Masks are mandatory and all those not wearing masks will not be allowed admission or asked to leave. Masks will be available for a £1.00 donation to the mosque
2 The Mosque will open 20 mins prior to Salah Jamaat and close 20 mins after and please do your sunnat and nawafil at home.
